"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him (John 3:16-17).

Jesus Christ loved the world so much that He gave everything for it, from His rights and privileges as the unique eternal Son of God to His very life!

"This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins" (1 John 4:9-10).

The reason God sent Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sin. sin means violations of God's commandments such as the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20. We tend to think of like murder and adultery as "major" sins compared with others like lying, cursing, idolatry ,worrying but sin is sin.

The original translations of the Bible means sin is "to miss the mark." In conclusion to that we are all sinners. Romans 3:23 said "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment.

"If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives" (1 John 1:8-10).

the good news is that God the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve. Jesus christ died on the cross, buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible.

If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring,
"Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

Romans 10:9~10 says " For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved."
How to accept Jesus Christ as savior and lord? Here is a suggested prayer.

This is not a ritual based on specific words, but rather, a prayerful guideline for your sincere step of faith. Repeat the following words from the bottom of your heart  “Heavenly Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry for my past and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day on forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
